In Ayurveda, neem is considered a (sarw rog niwaran jadi buti) universal remedy for all kinds of diseases, as it helps in alleviating various ailments. Neem holds a unique importance in Ayurveda, making it supreme in its own right. It helps in curing all types of skin disorders.

Neem leaves are rich in anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, as well as nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, and potassium, which support overall health.

Neem Leaves Help In:

1.Skin Care: Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, neem helps in treating skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

2.Digestive Health: It aids in digestion and helps alleviate problems like constipation and bloating.

3.Blood Sugar Regulation: Neem helps in controlling blood sugar levels, reducing the risk of diabetes.

Ways to Use Neem on Skin and Scalp:

How to Make Neem Powder:

1. Take neem leaves and wash them thoroughly.

2. After washing, dry them completely in the sun.

3. Once the leaves are completely dry, grind them in a mixer grinder.

4. After grinding, sift the powder through a sieve to remove any large particles.

5. Store the sifted neem powder in an airtight container and use as needed.

How to Make Neem Water:

1. Boil a handful of neem leaves in 2 glasses of water on a low flame for 15 to 20 minutes.

2. After boiling, let the water cool down.

3. Once cooled, strain the water into a spray bottle.

4. Spray on the affected area.

How to Make Neem Oil:

Ingredients:

- 1 small bowl of neem leaves

- 1 small bowl of coconut oil

1. Take a small bowl of neem leaves and grind them thoroughly (make sure not to add any water while grinding).

2. For a better paste, you can add a little coconut oil while grinding.

3. Once the paste is ready, cook it with coconut oil on a low flame for 10 to 12 minutes.

4. After cooking, let the oil cool down.

5. Once cooled, strain it using a cotton cloth and store it in a glass bottle.

Precautions While Applying Neem Leaves on Skin:

- Patch Test: Always do a patch test before applying neem leaves on your skin or scalp to check if it suits you. Some people may be allergic to certain things, and applying them directly to the skin can cause adverse effects.

  - Duration: Do not leave neem paste on your skin for too long; generally, 10 to 15 minutes is sufficient. Prolonged application may cause side effects.

  - Dilution: Always dilute neem oil with a carrier oil before use, as high concentrations can irritate your skin.

  - Clear Skin: Before applying neem oil, water, or paste, make sure your skin is clean so the product can penetrate effectively. Otherwise, it may create buildup and other skin issues.
